MODERATOR’S MUSINGS

        Jesus was asked:  “How many times should I forgive my brother?  Seven times?”  The traditional Rabbinical reply was three, but Jesus replied “70x7”.  This was an amount far greater than many disciples could count; but it indicated the amount of God’s Love and forgiveness of our own sins.  In order to receive forgiveness, it must first be asked for.  The forgiveness we then give should be unconditional with no strings attached and in the forgiving we must forget and embrace each other in Christian Love.
